Scope:
 
The "Video Player in Flex" is a flex based application which has the ability to play FLV videos on your website, either statically or dynamically. The Video Player application can also play the youtube videos by just passing the id of the youtube video
 
The Video Player has following features :

  • While the file is Playing, the user has full control over the volume.
  • The video can be paused/resumed during playtime.
  • The user can toggle between Full Screen mode and Normal mode during playtime.
  • On completion, the video can be replayed using the replay control.
  • Developed Flex Book with Flip Effect. Created HTML based Digital Magazine or Books.
In addition to these basic features, the Video Player has following advanced features :

  • One can choose to include advertisement at the start of the video, which can either be a video file (.flv) or a flash file (.swf), which can be skipped by the user at any playtime.
  • Footer can include advertisement (a flash file (.swf)), which will be displayed during software.
  • This same advertisement or even a different advertisement can be displayed in Full Screen mode.
  • The player has built-in suggestion box so that the user can view/play list of related/suggested videos.
  • This suggestion box is designed with special effects, which allows the user to traverse between the list of videos.
